Parlimentarian/Region NYC VP

​Hello everyone, my name is Jasmeet Kaur. I am proud to be your 2022-2023 NYS HOSA Parliamentarian and Region NYC Vice President. I am a current senior at Thomas A. Edison CTE High School and will be graduating as a certified medical assistant. After graduation, I will attend college and obtain a bachelor’s degree in the health sciences or pre-medicine. In my free time, I enjoy making art, and watching Marvel movies.

Duties of Parliamentarian

It shall be the duty of the Parliamentarian

• to serve as an authority and consultant to the presiding officer at all Association meetings and rule on the points of order
• call attention to all errors in procedure as observed
• maintain for reference, and supply on demand suitable parliamentary references and the Association Bylaws
• to serve the Association in any capacity as directed by the President.
