Conference General Information

General Sessions will be held Tuesday and Wednesday evening and Thursday morning.  Everyone is required to attend.  Appropriate attire is required.
Appropriate Attire
HOSA members will wear appropriate attire to all conference activities. Tuesday evening all attendees must wear HOSA Uniform/Suit.  Wednesday morning and day students may wear Competitive Events attire or HOSA Uniform/Suit.   Attendees should wear HOSA Uniform/Suit to the Keynote event at 4:30pm. After dinner, attendees can change for evening entertainment.  Social activities dress code will include everything EXCEPT: athletic clothing, swimwear, sheer or mesh clothing, tank tops, muscle shirts, crop tops and clothing with obscene or suggestive printing. Shirt straps must be two inches wide and the length of shorts and skirts must be at minimum to the fingertip.
All Competitors must report to their event site (or designated holding area) at the beginning of their competition. They will then be asked to remain in the holding room to wait for their time to compete.
No cell phones or other electronic devices are allowed in the competitive event rooms, holding rooms, or waiting rooms unless specifically allowed by their event guidelines. If a student is not in the holding room or waiting rooms for their event when they are called to go to their event they will be disqualified.
Failure to adhere to these rules could result in removal or disqualification from the event for the individual, team, or chapter.
Only the event personnel, chairpersons, or competitive event coordinators are allowed to enter the rooms before, during, and after an event. Competitors will be sent to the room when it is time for their event.
Courtesy Corps.
Students not actively participating in Competitive Events, visiting the Exhibit Hall, or attending workshops should help in Courtesy Corps.  Courtesy Corps helps the conference run smoothly by working as timers, runners, and assistants.

All conference attendees (student members, advisors, chaperones, guests) must pay the $50 registration fee for the conference, directly to NY HOSA.

If your HOSA chapter is less than 15 miles from the Doubletree by Hilton, you may register for either package shown below.

All fees above will be paid directly to the DoubleTree by Hilton. 
An additional $50 Registration Fee per person will be paid directly to NYS HOSA.
All attendees (students, advisors, chaperones, and guests) must pay the $50 Registration Fee. 
How to Register:
  1. Registration is on the HOSA System.
  2. You must register for the conference by February 28, 2025 and be an official* HOSA member (*chapter membership dues have been paid).
  3. Spring Conference Registration is $50.00 per person. This fee is applicable to all students, whether participating in online-only or in-person competitive events. All advisors, chaperones, and guests must also pay the registration fee. All Registrations need to be paid before the conference.
  4. All Registrations must be paid before the conference on April 2, 2025. Purchase orders will not be accepted.
  5. You must complete the Medical Form and the Code of Conduct Form. Print and bring signed forms to the conference. ALL Conference Attendees must have this documentation or they will not be permitted to participate in the conference.  Both forms MUST be signed by students, parents/guardians, and advisors.  You must submit these forms even if only entering online-only competitive events.
    Please submit forms for online competitors using this link. 
    ​If they are not submitted you will be disqualified from your event(s).​
